In October 2022, HertsCam is relaunching its masters as an international programme.

It will be a two year part-time programme open to any practitioner working in the education sector. A leadership post is not required, just a commitment to creating sustainable improvement in schools.

Participation involves ‘twilight’ sessions in one of the four centres: Stevenage, Newcastle, Cairo and Kuala Lumpur.

There will also be a substantial online dimension and participation in network events.

Expressions of interest are welcome from anyone working in a professional capacity in the education sector as a whole. This includes teachers, those with middle and senior leadership posts and those working in other roles in schools such as learning assistants and librarians. It could also include those working alongside schools.

The tuition fees will be modest compared with most universities’ fees. The exact figure will be announced soon.

If you would like to have an exploratory conversation on the phone about or would like to express your interest you can email any of the following:

Teachers as Agents of Change
A masters programme designed, led and taught by teachers

MEd Graduation ceremony

In October, we were delighted to celebrate the achievements of our two most recent cohorts at Knebworth Barns. It was a wonderful occasion, giving guests the opportunity to hear about the graduands' MEd development work and how they successfully led change in the midst of a global pandemic. Graduands, their families and the teaching team enjoyed the ceremony, followed by a celebratory lunch.

As part of our quality assurance processes, MEd participants’ work is scrutinised by an academic from another university, in a role as External Examiner.  We were delighted that the External Examiner recognised the strengths of our MEd programme, praising the consistently high quality of the teaching and learning and being 'cutting edge' in enabling the leadership of change.

If you would like to know more about how to join this community of change agents, please contact the MEd programme at [email protected].
